Engine Bay Bulkhead Plug. Help Identifying It!

Could somebody help me identify what this hole in bulkhead is used for?

 

The white bit in the picture is the expansion tank.

 

I have access to two donor 205gti's and neither have this.

Could only suggest it might have been for an alarm wire or amplifier wire at some point, mine dosent have one there either.

Got my shell completely stripped and it's an H reg had a look for this and couldn't find a hole in this position. Same as on my complete car which is also a later H Reg.

That hole isn't on any of the ones I've seen.
