Hello,

What is says in the title really. Converting my 1.1 into a gti6 track car!

 

Just finished ripping my doner car apart for parts. Just Awating confirmation on a garage to rent then I can really get going.

 

Watch this post as I'm going to need help as I'm still learning myself!

Sweet. Base model Gti6's FTW.

 

I'm at the moment looking for a base model 3dr 309 to drop a Honda lump into for a road car :)

Yeah but I want a road going car. The 205 doesn't get driven on the road and the discovery is great for work but not for fun. So I really fancy a K20 engined 309 or 205 in fast road trim. Probably on bodies...

K20A2 (civic type R) engine would be my choice, spins clockwise so retain the original peugeot layout apposed to the older honda anti clockwise lumps.

 

200hp in standard form, revs to 8,500, add throttle bodies and a very drivable engine for less than the cost of getting an XU engine there. Plus a 230hp XU isn't going to be as road friendly as a mildly fettled K20.
