Which Rotor Arm I Need ?

Hi,

 

i have ducellier distributor on my 1.6 GTI (1992) and i want to renewal my rotor arm.

 

the rotor arm which is install now looks like this

but i saw that the type that should be install looks like that

which one is the correct one ?

 

my ducellier distributor part number is 2525683A (not a mistake in the number)

my vin is VF320CB6224949982

Having had a look for you, your distributor is listed pre '91.

 

Genuine Peugeot rotor arm was 5937.28 but now is LE-9202

For that type of dizzy you'll need this one :

The other arm on the picture is for old pushrod Peugeot-Talbot engines where the dizzy bolts into the block rather than the head .

OK thanks guys the problem is that i bought the dizzy cap of the other type and it's doesn't fit like the one i have now :(

the one i've bought is the one that include in the kit of peugeot 5940.35

 

which cap i need?

thanks but it's very weird since my original cap that install on the ditributor is a male type and this is a female type... very weird

 

do you know that part number for the HT leads ( because it's female type) ?

This one : http://www.miamistu.co.uk/pug/GB/309F/5/59B55A.HTM .. yes it's from 309 catalogue . I tried searching trough 205 distributors but couldn't find that one from your picture so i guess that someone fitted 309 dizzy instead 205 one ?! or could be different cos it's export car ..

 

Will take look for leads .
