Changing Tps Question

Quick Q, to change the TPS is it just a case of unbolting and removing old TPS from throttle body, and bolting on the new one and resetting etc?

Or is it sealed to the throttle body somehow to avoid air leaks etc?

There is no seal, you just need to adjust it far enough so that it clicks at idle but not too far or it'll hold the throttle open.

Not sure if I am the only one to notice this but the Haynes manual electrical test for the TPS is ( I think ) wrong .It tells you to test throttle closed , part throttle and full throttle using terminals 2 and 18 . I think closed and part throttle are 2 +18 but full throttle is 3 + 18 - why have a terminal 3 if its not used ?

I changed my TPS about a month ago , its worth checking the butterfly is closing onto and actually touching the throttle stop screw . my screw had unwound itself .
