Anybody Got Any Pictures Of The Tensioner Tensioned On Xu9J4

Recommended Posts

Been looking at the you tube video of how to time up an mi16 engine. I've been looking at some pictures and the rear tensioner is tensioned up different to the pictures I've found. Where you insert the sump spanner to turn up the tension on the belt, on the rear it's shows the square sump plug hole pointing towards the water pump. The other pictures I've found, the same tensioner square hole pointing up?? Either way it seems to do the job. I was thinking the video shows the tensioner square hole point towards the water pump is anticlockwise. Any ideas. Thanks

Ps here's the video.

It's ok, I've done as in the video, the timing pins go in nicely so all is well. The longest part of the belt is near enough so will check it if it's slack/tight when oil and coolant in. Cheers
