205 1.9 Gti 8V Twin 40 Upgrade Power Steering Model

hi, a mate wants to fit a set of twin 40 webers to his gti with power steering, as the power steering pump is mounted below the alternator this raises the height of the alternator and is is the way of the manifold, other than removing the power steering is there another way around this ? thanks

Use an alloy sump, mount the pas pump on the sump and put the alternator back down where it would be on a non pas bracket. Bit of f***ing about to do making bits though not a direct bolt on conversion.

Fit a 106/Saxo electric PAS pump.
