8V Omega Piston/rod Identification

Recommended Posts

We've got these kicking about and I'm curious about them basically, any info much appreciated.

What I know is they're 83.5mm omega pistons, got the liners to go with them but they're slightly scored.

Rods are unknown, the pictured one has been hot and is damaged, possibly fixable but a replacement would be better.

Anyone recognise any of it? Is it old grpA stuff, if that even existed?

Edit: Picture fail, bare with me

Nice rods but weird piston. Are you sure it's 205? Looks more like a low comp piston.

Definitely hi comp. just found out they came out of a Mass engine so I'm guessing they'll be something they've had made rather than an off the shelf piston. Apparently the rod got damaged when the little end bush came loose.

Never seen much info on the Mass stuff.

Not the normal Omega ones for sure, Mass did do allot of out of the box things with them thou and where one of the first to get good power and reliably too
