Flywheels And Standard Clutch

Another one of my "while the gearbox is out" moments.

 

I don't know much about upgrading the engine management as I'm currently just trying to tackle one thing at a time to help me sleep at night. I remember reading that you needed a flywheel with a timing gear or something to run the more modern engine management systems on the 8v engine. Have I picked this up wrong?

 

If correct what flywheels can i use with the standard clutch from a 1.6?

 

My car had it's clutch replaced only a few thousand miles ago and i'd rather not change it as well. I don't actually have any plans to change the engine management at the moment but it's a future proof thing. i might as well change the flywheel if i can get one for say £20.

1.9 8v motronic 205's as well as xu5m xu5 and 7jp and xu7jp4 all have a 200mm clutch face and 60-2 trigger wheel pattern which would do the job.
