Are Guide Bushes Interchangeable

When I took my gearbox off the bell housing was covered in gearbox oil so I figured the guide bush or clutch input shaft buffer as it is described on service box was shagged.

 

My car is an H reg 1.6. From reading a post here I figured 2013.35 was the right part number so I ordered one. Turns out it's different so I'm now thinking I should have got 2015.17. However, I read another post saying the parts were interchangeable. The bolt holes and shaft diameter look the same but there are a few differences between the parts and the one that came off had a gasket where the new one has nothing.

yes, its just a revised cheaper to make part.

Old ones use a gasket, new one's a O ring seal, case's are different to suit
