Xud9 Turbo Diesel Engine Code

Hi, I'm looking for an XUD9 turbo diesel engine (1905cc) to nick the forged crank from for my Mi16.

 

Firstly, is it correct that this engine appears in both 405 SRDT and 306 XRDT?

 

There appears to be 2 different engine codes according to Peugeot Logic. DHY (cat equipped) & D8A (non cat equipped).

It's most likely that all Aust delivered ones will be cat equipped but just in case I come across a private import do they both have forged (steel) cranks?

as long as its a turbo theyll be the same crank, also found in the dw10.

The DW10 would be 86mm stroke?

nope, same 88mm crank.

So they got their 2 litres with 85 x 88. With some custom pistons & an Mi16 head that'd make a nice motor.

sod mi16, get a later one if youre bothering to do a custom build

 

colin satchell's current engine is 88x85 in an overbored xud block, means you stay under 2000cc and have a fresh bore, and an original block, where head is free its an xu7 head (same valve sizes as mi16 iirc )
