1.6 Gti Running Very Rough

Recommended Posts

lts

My 87' 205 1.6 GTI does not run as it should.

Compression test is ok.. but one of the plugs is wet. Changed injector on that cylinder, spark seems ok.

New plugs, cables, cap, rotor.

Engine seems "out of balance".

Not sure where to go from here. Any ideas are welcome.

its a process of elimination swapping with a good used (or new) unite will eliminate these from being the problem

Slo

Take off the injector plug and spin it over and see if the plug still gets wet
