Smaller Oil Filter

Hi Guys,

 

i need to replace my oil filter and was wondering if there is an smaller (in length) ones that i could use as the other rests on my slim line fan slightly?

Various Renault filters are the same fitment but shorter length - Renault 19 16v will suffice if you need a model to look up against.

Useful information as the std filters are a sod to for without knocking into your rad fins

No need for it on a standard engine, however where space is at a premium then they'll work fine.

 

 

PH5796 is the Fram number for the 54mm tall unit, standard generic Peugeot fit unit is PH5566A which is 94mm tall, both 76mm diameter.

I am using a Renault 1.5 diesel oil filter on mine, think it's fitted to some of the 1.9's too. It's not the real short one like the 19 16v one. I can get the purflux part number tomorrow.
