Hi guys recently bought this from ebay (febi 60767) make and number, was wondering if this is correct sensor for my car. standard 1990 g-reg 1.9 gti?

If so am i correct in thinking it goes under the dizzy, the blue capped one?

im sorry if this has been covered and im aware of how thick this question must seem to some of you!, but thanks fro looking.

helpfully FEBI put the o.e.m's part number on there, so you can go on;

and cross reference to the application very quickly, and also note that Peugeot probably still sell it themselves.

1337 72
THERMISTOR
DIAM 14X1.25

it is correct for the temperature gauge on all gti's, infact nearly all 205's.

Replace it with the one which it matches. There are 2 spade sensors on the back of the thermostat housing,

Cheers guys, just took a look at the sensors, but ive only got two there, where I thought id have three. Theres the stop light one the one next to that which has the red clip on, then under those in the middle theres a hole and a brass looking plate or plug there behind the thread. Is that odd or normal?

Yep, sounds like a pre phase 2, theres a housing bolted to the side which the sad is fixed to, the cts is in the side of that under the distributor.
