1.9 205 Gti Cooling Fans

Hi all, I am in the process of restoring to original spec a "Griffe" from 1991 (pics to follow when finished) and, having removed the radiator & fans, there is only 1 fan but mountings for 2. Anyone know if there should be 2? (No wiring in place either)

Not just TD - all diesel models have the twin fan setup that's relay controlled (or atleast all that I've seen do)

The Griffe could have 2, the Gentry's do as std and they never had A/C
