Pug 206 Gti Engine Swap.

my cousins engine in his 206 gti has come to a shattering end lol. timing belt snapped. he has been offered a engine from a 2004 206 gti. his car is a 2000 w plate. he is asking if the wiring will be different as they changed from plex to multiplex . any help appreciated before he buys it .

doesnt matter, he will need to retain the original ecu etc as its all coded, just swap the engine itself if the loom is different.
