406 Executive Wiring Loom

Hi in process of fitting a turbo engine into my 205 have engine in but am stuck on the wiring harness as there is a lot of red wires and there isnt any codes on the wires. Any help would be much appreciated

Can't speak for that particular loom, but generally speaking you can use a multimeter to bell through the various ECU, relay and connector pins to work out what each wire does is the wire numbers are missing or unreadable. Autodata or similar will give you the ECU pin out if needed.

any 406 loom I have encountered will have more than just red wires, and numbers near the plugs at the very least.

Thanks guys there is a few other colours but mostly red only markings are black dots on the wires im going through at present with a multi meter

in that case it sounds more like a Citroen loom.
