That is stunning! It'll never go for 16k, I bet he'd take 12 tomorrow. Even for 12k, I'd want a red carpet.

This was for sale on PSCUK for £9K as the owner was moving abroad and it sold quickly - some mark up!

At any price I'd be scared to take it out.

I remember when that car first surfaced in 2009. It was on PH for £2,000....

I might buy it and put a cage in it and gti6 lump ^^

On another note I forgot all about auto trader still going

I remember the days of buying that big beefy issue and sitting in the bog at work reading it, in the mid 90's

They have stopped printing the weekly paper now. Purely online based.

It was bought every Thursday for the bus journey home from school and always jumped straight to the pink 'bargain buys' section! :D I had a few cars from the bargain buys including a £350 2 door Mk2 escort unfinished project!..

I sold a blue 306 in AutoTrader back in 2004. I'm in Manchester and had a guy in London giving me hell over the phone because I'd sold the car and yet "continued to advertise it" (he said, reading a 2-week old magazine). The mind boggles. Not sure how he wanted me to remove it from the magazine

Seen one a few months back, really thin now. I remember getting calls off agencies who'd found your car on AutoTrader, saying "We've got 13 people ready to buy your car right now, all you need to do is .... "

I phoned up off a car in Sexchange and Fart, many moons back. Bloke was _really_ surprised. The ad had been in three weeks previously, and nobody had called. Turns out they'd just reprinted the ad randomly, presumably to fill some space...

Blimey - E&M's still going, too... http://www.exchangeandmart.co.uk/ - just the one 205 for sale, but it sounds interesting...

PEUGEOT 205 Trio SX. 1991. 1124cc. Tax and MoT. Petrol. Good runner. £275 ono. Tel: 01291 422671. Caldicot.

Let's face it , it don't hurt to try

If some nostalgic footballer ( or other rich person) wants to add his first car he got with his first pay packet back in the day , I bet he would think about buying that

Nah, you wouldn't get any rich footballers buying a 205 GTI. You need to have good taste to appreciate a 205 GTI, and that's something that seems to be very much lacking in the footballer community.

Ha ha that's the one I did some work to the other month and delivered it to these guys. Nice car the interior is like new but the exterior needs a few little bits to bring it up to scratch.

I don't think a footballer would even think about a 205 as it's not a show off car...

Only the overpaid ones. So that's pretty much all premiership footballers then.
