What Goes Here?

Basically something seems to be missing off of my clutch leaver thingy. The piece to the left. What goes here?

there should be a roughly 40mm long pin between the quadrant and the clutch lever, and a spring between both to stop the pin falling out.

Ive got the spring. But nothing else! Worried im going to put the whole engine back in and lose something like that im not even sure I remember seeing it when the car was running.

Pins are available from the dealer but come in 5s if I remember correctly.

40mm shank of a long 8mm bolt will do the trick.

 

Just round the ends off

Well I never saw it. And it wasn't underneath the car. And I certainly didn't take it off...the spring was on there. But nothing else

Can just about make it out in that picture. But makes more sense now! Thanks. Glad to see I wasn't the only one with the dirty engine. Ill be putting a thread up soon as this is my first ever engine out job. Been hard work
