Exhaust Back Box Clamp

my back box and clamp have turned up today.

 

The clamp is a 52mm clamp but the outer diameter of the pipe is 45.2mm.

 

Surely the clamp is gonna be oval by the time its clamped down?

are you sure its the right exhaust? 45mm sounds a bit small.

 

is it a sleeve clamp or olive type? just pop into your local motorfactor and grab the right size if it doesn't fit.

Ye it slides onto the old pipe fine, sleeve fit.

 

The motorfactors say thats the size clamp listed by the manufacturer and I have seen that size mentioned in a post on here.

ohh, the smaller phase 1 system, klarius part number is SYA9 for the clamp, which is a 51mm clamp.

Last sleeve type exhaust system which i bought few years ago (ex Arvin Meritor , now Klarius) was 45mm dia. , with that one you need 48mm clamps .
