S16 Brake Vacuum Amplifier

hello

 

i'm wondering if a brake vacuum amplifier (4575.19) on s16 could be replaced by a normal fabricated 'T' joints..i realized that the original parts acts like an actuator to the electro valve..whats missing is this original part replaced by the fabricated one...without the one way valve

 

i would appreciate if someone could explain about this

you can still get those new, they are used on the gti6 engine as well, I may even have one I could post to you if postage is not prohibitive, but you haven't updated your location field, are you on the Death Star?

 

 

As to the effects of running it direct, there's no reason you can't, but you may get a pulsing effect at low RPM.

Vader - glad to know someone from same country as mine! I am located at Penang.

 

I bought this valve new last year at Singapore. You may want to explore on this direction as I believe it is hard to get it locally unless you are open for used condition...

Are you driving ZX16V?

as for the valve, i manage to get it new from ipoh at rm155
