dave205 19 Posted September 19, 2013 Does anyone have any idea what pressure a hydraulic clutch works at? Im referring to a 406 v6 one. Im wondering what fitting/hose i can use to go between the master and slave cylinders.
welshpug 1,626 Posted September 19, 2013 Normal hydraulic fittings or brake fittings will be fine. I thing goliath just used the complete D9 setup.
allye 530 3 Cars Posted September 19, 2013 (edited) The later D9 setup is much better with the bleed nipple on the slave cylinder. Head to a scrap yard, load of cars have the same fittings. Just to add the different slave cylinders have different fitting for the hydraulic hose. Obviously both fit the gearbox though. dave205 19 Posted September 19, 2013 I have a d9 slave cylinder with a d8 master cylinder, cable converted to hydraulic setup. I cant get it to bleed though?
allye 530 3 Cars Posted September 19, 2013 I assume its not in a 406 then! Do you have any pictures of the set up? Mine has a braided hose from the MS to the SC, although I will be junking the lot soon as the cable/hydraulic setup is poo!
