What Does This Connect To?

Hi Guys,

 

putting my sun roof back together and i cant work out how the safety brake wire goes onto the latch, does anyone have a pic of how its meant to look or tell me if theres something missing from this pic

I can't see clearly in that dark picture, but from memory there's a plastic arm attached to the handle that the wire clips into.

Was taking the sunroof trim off over the weekend and thought I remembered someone looking this...

 

 

It should be easily enough made. It's exactly an inch from centre of radius to centre of radius so maybe start off with a strip 2" long.
