Is there a thread left in the block if I remove the heat exchanger?

Similar to if you remove the gti6 heat exchanger you're left with no thread in the block to screw on an airfilter

 

Just trying to plan ahead

Its the same bolt as an RFS engine up to 96, then a shorter one after that as they used a smaller heat exchanger, so the 1103 54 27mm long threaded insert would do the job if you wanted to remove it.
