Bm Header Tank

Recommended Posts

Roon

Right so my old gti one is pure dead along with the cap so just ordered up the BM header tank to sort it all out.

Suddenly thought tho does it have the connector for the temp gauge? Can't see it in the picture.

Anyone who has one or has had could let me know and also the question of mounting it? How etc ect. For a 205 gti6

Going to fit it on Saturday.

temp gauge sender is in the thermostat housing, not the header tank, do you mean the level sender?

Any gti6 conversion I have been involved with has used the standard tank with a set of BBM hoses, you can still buy the tanks new from peugeot.

only that they fit without any adapting and are readily available, where quite a few of the original hoses are not.

So I could have issues with standard hoses fitting the new tank? I can't afford 200 pounds worth of hoses just yet.

I could stretch to the 2 for the tank but I dought they will sell them separate :(

Does anyone know what pressure the caps from these run at? I'm using one with a xu10j4rs engine.
