danpass15 6 Posted August 18, 2013 Recently purchased another gti after missing driving my last one so much! Failed MOT on rear beam so that has just been rebuilt it's a 1.6 shell but has 1.9 running gear. The engine was rebuilt at some point and has a piper 285 cam. it has also been resprayed orange Things I plan to do: - gti6 brake upgrade on the front - r1 bike carb conversion - put back to standard interior inside (if anyone is interested in swapping the bucket seats and harnesses might be able to do a deal?) - got some rust to sort out on lower rear quarter 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

danpass15 6 Posted August 31, 2013 Found a set of interior, got the lot for 50 pounds. The drivers seat is badly torn and ripped so have left that out and kept the bucket seat for now... Fitted a red carpet, looks so much better and fitted centre console and some other bits. Next problem is the adjustable brake bias that someone cleverly decided to fit right in between where the rear seats would go!
