Restricting Steering Lock

Hi guys

I've searched the forum and come up with one solution (a blob of weld), but I was wondering if there were any more elegant solutions that people are using to restrict the steering lock, whilst using a gti6 gearbox, in a 205?

Jubilee clip under the right hand boot track rod would work.

A nylon lock stop is easy to make. Requires the offside track rod to be removed in order to fit it.

Hi Tom,

I prefer the sound of that if I'm honest, is it a nylon tube that would slide over the un-used teeth? Dont suppose you have any pics or rudimentary drawings do you?

It's really very simple, pullback the o/s rack gaiter and wind right hand lock on and you'll see what is needed.
