i do the proper road rallys and the car isnt bad for an 1100 iv caught a few gtis on the last one but got lost before the end and im doing the breiddeen next weekend. iv got a ally sump gaurd iv skidded the whole car with polypropylene with some worn nobalies

I think you were out on the 061, Allan and I won the novices class so we do have an idea what you are up against. With the best will in the world I think you are going to struggle for power.

I wouldn't bother using 15s with a 1.1, far better of using 13s to keep your acceleration and you can find tyres a lot easier, and cheaper! Try and find a set of lotus sunbeam wheels if you can.

They bolt straight on perfect, and the centre bore is the same as pug, I think you'd need spacers with 1.9 caliper s but not with base model/ 1.6 caliper s.

I was in the 061 but that was my first event didn't end well but since then we've got quicker just thinking now I might put the 1.4 head on with some work and go from there I could really do with a main hoop at least for a cage but there so damn expensive!

IMO you can't put a price on your own or your navigators head! A decent cage will save your life and in a lot of cases a well fitted cage will save the shell, even in a roll.
