Mi16 And Gti6 Fly Wheels?

i.e. would a mi16 flywheel fit a gti6 lump?

 

it may be a silly question but i was under the impression it should fit?

yup, both use 215mm friction surfaces, the same 60-2 timing teeth, and the same bolt pattern and dowel hole PCD

perfect so i can buy a mi16 flywheel with a mi16 clutch and it will fit my gti6 for certain??

just use the gti6 flywheel, saves having to get new flywheel bolts.

yeh but theres somebody selling a lightened mi16 flywheel with a clutch and i wanted to lighten my flywheel so this seem to be the best of both.
