Peugeot 406 Comparability With 15" Alloys

Recommended Posts

calvinhorse

Ok so the bog standard brakes on a 406 are basically the same as gti6 brakes but the disc offset and carrier offset are different.. They look the same at a glance.

Does this mean a 205 1.9 gti 15" wheel will fit?

With clip on weights so inside is clear?

I'm sure I've seen 406s with 1.9 wheels but maybe hubcaps?

Thanks

If anyone else is absolutely retarded like Daz the basic question I'm asking is-

Do 1.9 gti wheels fit over 406 283mm brakes?

Peugeot 406s came with 15" steel Wheels but alloys have a lot more material so less clearance..

Your link wasn't 100% helpful but certainly a step in the right direction

But being 'absolutely retarded' what else could one expect? :)

My 1.9 speedlines had no clearance with my 306 Gti6 brakes. Knocked the two wheel weights off.
