Its quite extensive but certainly not the wost I have seen and wont be hard for a decent fabricator to fix up, certainly not something I would scrap it for.

Puzzled why you bought a car that you knew needed welding and a replacement sill if you weren't in a position to do it yourself nor were willing to pay someone else to do the work?

Whilst sills in that state are still comparitively rare, it's certainly not unheard of, and all 205's are getting to the age now where tin worm is beginning to take its toll and repairs are going to be needed. Front inner wing seams, lower rear quarter panels, rear bumper mounts, headlight panels, above/around the fuel tank, and the boot floor are all becoming very common areas.

Have a look at M@tt's CTi project thread as he's repaired/replaced a sill in much the same condition, and doesn't look to be difficult for someone experienced. Certainly similar repairs are going to be very common on other cars from that era, just a question of whether replacement sill panels are easily available to make the job comparitively easy.

When i bought the car i thought it was just bottom half of outer sill and my sad was going to weld bottom half but he's only good at simple welding so on discovering more he said it's too much for him to handle.

I've already go replacement outer sill its the inner sill which i can't get hold off

I've got a bloke coming round tomorrow to give me a quote so fingures crossed then it will be in my budget then it wont have to goto the scrap heap

you need a K&N induction hose, it will have the two takeoffs you require, did you not place a wanted ad for one of these recently?

one pipe is a breather the other is a feed for the SAD which should be connected engine side of the AFM, not to atmosphere which will in effect introduce unmetred air into the engine causing issues.
