So Who Is Selling This Carpet ?

been looking for a carpet as i wanted to try and dye one black and came across to on ebay

That IggyB guy or at least one of these serial 205 breakers is known for stealing pics, he's used pics from my photobucket fairly recently for a gti6 gearbox

 

I don't know why he's changed his ebay user, it used to be escortbuffy, his photobucket still is.

i got some stuff from that guy about 4 years back.... he sent me the wrong parts i complained and he left me negative feed back! saying something like... time waster... i was like what the hell!

i have a carpet out of an stdt you can have if you are going to try to dye it a different colour, it is a bit of a trek to get here though

Think it might have been that guy as well using pictures from Calvin's eBay listing to advertise a 306 he was breaking before I'd even been to pick up the car! Quick email to eBay and his listing disappeared. Cheeky f***wit!

I'd place a bet on the composition of the carpet containing no natural fibre, ergo it won't accept the dye.

 

I tried to dye some carpet once, two full cycles of the dylon stuff in the washing machine and both times on the rinse cycle all the dye came out

 

Really the best way to dye synthetic car carpet is to spray in small sections the carpet with generic spray paint and using a stiff nylon brush keep brushing the pile of the carpet in all directions as you spray the paint on but remember that the carpet will never be soft again
