Tu5J4 Cylinder Head Question.

hello, does this hole in the cylinder head supost to have a bung/plug or pipe in there? Seems strange to have a uncovered hole. Its a 1999 engine so no erg or gas recirculation systems are fitted.

Ill have a look on my engine tonight and let you know. From the pictures on my phone, I can see the hole, but it doesn't look as deep as that.

If you could have a look for me that would be great. Whacking a photo up of your engine for comparision would be oh so helpful.

I had a look on service box it does show the hole but no parts going into it.

My hole goes all the way through and has nothing going in or coming out of it either. I had never noticed it before

I forgot to get a picture though :P

Hope that's helpful!

The square hole is suposed to be blocked in ,the circle one to the top right of it isnt , looks like a water chamber to me looking at the colour and the sensor going in

Whoops didnt see how old this was!
