Does The Be1 Gearbox Have A Vent?

Just fitting the lift up reverse cable and I can't remeber where it went.

I think I've plugged the hole with a plastic vent (breather) and I might have got confused with the be3 box?

Or it's round the back somewhere and I can't find it.

The last gearbox rebuilt was a BE3, must have just assumed I needed a vent when buying bits for the rebuild.

Could have sworn I removed one though.

 

Does the lift up reverse cable deffo go there then, and there isn't a vent for the BE1?

 

It's cold and usually dark when I'm working on It, I tried to wedge my head in the gap under the expansion bottle between the battery and the bulkhead with a torch in my mouth, but I couldn't see another hole for a lift up reverse or breather.

The reverse lock out cable fits into the Be1 where the breather goes n the later Be3 but there is no other breather cap like found on a Be3.
