Unusual Rear Spoiler 205 Gti

Looking through the book " Peugeot 205 GTi, the enthusiasts companion " on page 74 it shows an unusual rear spoiler from " Stand 21 "

Does anyone know anything about it ?

Is it available, are there any around 2nd hand etc ?

It looks a bit rough but my wife reckons if I get her a 205 as well, she wants that spoiler, just for the looks.'

There is no accounting for taste, but , hey, she's the boss !!

I've tried to photocopy the page and then scan the printed matter, but it looks cr*p.

I'll try and attach it anyway.

I didnt say I liked it

But the boss does.

It reminds me of a baby version of the one on my Cossie, and I've never been too sure about that one either.

FUNCTION OVER FORM MATE,AND THAT SPOILER HAS 2 FUNCTIONS

 

1 OBSCURING YOUR REAR VIEW MIRROR

 

2 LOOKING FOOKIN FUGLY AS FUGLY CAN BE,if that was a baby anything i would drown it at birth

 

and thats coming from someone who is far from a purist and likes a bit of kittage,tell the wife she can have the say on the domestic front,room colour, appliances etc but step back from the f***ing car,it will end up painted pink with chrome teddy bear wheels,the wife obviosly is not a woman of automotive taste

have a look on caradisiac the french car site and you will see some terrible looking 205's and even the frenchies have not stooped as low as sticking one of those spoilers on their fibreglass and filler foam monstrosities.

and for your own good please never mention that spoiler again,cheers pete

Keith, is there's just one good thing to come out of all this, it's the fact that your chances of ever finding one of them is about as likely as Jedward ever having sex with anyone other than each other. So I guess your marriage is safe

She also says she would love her own 205 but it would have to be an auto box.

38 years of marriage, counts for nothing

As far as cars go her dream car is a 1959-60 Corvette, so she does have good taste really
