pulling my hair out here guys can anyone help when the car is cold she will start no bother but once the engine is hot ie after a good thrashing if i stop the engine it will struggle to start she turns over but very hard to start when it does fire it will run rough as if on three cylinders then finally clear with a rev or two ive changed the igniton amplifier and the ecu temp sender the plug leads cap and rotor are all good and the coil has been swapped still the same it runs fine and pulls like a train just poor starting any ideas or thing i can try would be helpful thanks as we are rallying saturday night and its a nightmare at petrol.

I experienced a strange problem on a MI almost similar to what you describe.

 

If the coil was mounted to the inlet it wouldn't start properly and wouldn't rev unless you revved it hard.

Took the coil off the inlet and it was sweet as a nut

 

Just a suggestion

Dizzee stuff

Sounds more like a over fueling problem, could start by checking ecu temp censor.
