Reverse Sensor Wiring

Righty! now iv noticed iv not got a reverse light so checked the bulb and was ok then thought check under the bonnit and this is what im faced with (see pic and no i didnt paint the box)... now im thinking that sensor with no plug on it is my reversing sensor now i cant find any wiring for it. The car has a xu10j4rs lump and an what looks to be a standard gti6 loom just want to know where the wiring for my sensor is and and is it standard on the gti6 loom

The wiring is included in the 8v loom which has probably long gone, looks like whoever converted your car was lazy and didn't bother putting it back. You will find the reverse light wires in the brown plugs under the dash.
