My New 205 Gti And My Daily 207 Gti Plus A Beetle Weekend Toy..

Recommended Posts

As title suggest I have changed my ph2 gti to a ph1.5 gti..

My daily ride is the 207 gti mods on that are as follows..

Straight through exhaust system no mufflers :)

Pcv delete.

Forge blow off and re-circ.

Custom induction kit.

Oil catch can.

And the 205 gti is my new project totally std and being the earlier 205 gti (in australia) it has gti 1.6 alloys no half leather or rear disc brakes :( also has the 1.9 dfz engine all as stock and as it came from the factory, Bonus is it has air con :)

As with most cars over here there is no rot anywere on the car,

Just need's tidying is a little smokey when warm and has cracked dash parts and now I want 1.9 rims (like in the uk).

Beetle is a 1968 flat screen with a porsche carrera bodykit nice wide rims (265 tyres lol) 1825cc cammed bigger carb etc goes well for what it is :)

Scooter is my toy to go shops on when its really sunny :)

The 207 looks great. Now if you really have the balls then this is what you should be purchasing a la Kris Meeke / Guy Wilks

If i had a white 207 GTI then I would be seriously tempted!

nice collection you have there.

Ive noticed on the 207 you say you have fitted an oil catch can? Have you noticed any oil actually ending up in the can? i say this as there is a vacuum in the rocker cover, them engine breath really heavily, youll notice if you take the oil cap off or leave the dipstick out while the engine is running you can here it sucking and will eventually put the fans on full speed.

Very weird engines them, weve done alot of engine replacements in the ds3 for oil problems. Have you had any problems with yours yet?

The bettle is pretty dam awesome.

Sorry for the late reply, I aint noticed any differances lol I can see a thin film of oil int eh catch can walls (probably measures upto a samll teaspoon...)

Car has done 41k (about 24000 miles) no issues at all so far...

Sold the beetle and bought an evo 6 :)
