cammmy 1 Posted July 5, 2010 Hey Guys Would like to space out my wheels 10 - 15mm. Part of the reason is that my tyres foul the coil-over locking rings at lower settings. I have been told that even 10mm spacing would cause issues with the standard arches, and that they are not the best candidates for rolling. Does anyone have any knowledge on this? Would be great if I could just get them rolled. Ta Cam

The wings will not match up to the doors once they are flared (there is a bit of a gap), but this is not really a problem. I have some pictures somewhere of them on the original car, I will find it and post it up here.
welshpug 1,678 Posted July 5, 2010 proper solution is to run higher or use shorter springs.
cammmy 1 Posted July 5, 2010 ^ Indeed but I would also like a wider stance. Pics would be sweet Alex
AlexN 7 Posted July 8, 2010 Sorry for the delay posting these, but here are the pics of the flared arches as they were on the original car. Actually they line up with the doors better than I remembered from when I last looked at these pictures
welshpug 1,678 Posted July 9, 2010 looks like the top of the rear doors are flared there too
AlexN 7 Posted July 9, 2010 Yeah I think there was some work done on the rear arches too. There is quite a lot of space under the rears as standard though, so unless you were running really wide tyres it should be OK.
cammmy 1 Posted July 11, 2010 I don't think they would quite line up like that on another car though? Looks like the front and rear doors have been modified?
