when comparing the age of the mi16 1.9 and the 2.0 16v xu10j4 engine from the 406 , i've heard both accelerate the same 0-100km on the 405, is that true?? so is it better to convert with the 2.0 16v from the 406???

What does age matter? The Mi16 still has at least 20bhp more...
