T16 Centre Diff Pintion Testing

spotted this on youtube earlier and wondered if it would be applicable to the Mi as well or is the system totally different on the T?

 

 

the same guy has a few vids on the GT28 Turbo he's fitted to his T16 as well.

I'm in the process of buying a set of pins off this chap. The diffs are identical in terms of the pins sizes. I'm going to put some pics up of the pins when I get them and the process of replacing them. This will hopefully help to make the drive train reliably take 250+bhp.

 

The material he makes them out of is the dog's wotsits, it's the same stuff they make turbine shafts in jet engines out of!

He seems a sound bloke, and the price is very reasonable too!

 

It's just a shame I don't actually own a T16 (although in a way I am kinda building one...) so I can't join the forum
