Mi PHII is virtually standard in appearance, but i fancy a change.

I don't want to go OTT, but some mods are in the offing for sure. I'm gonna get the rims refurbed in black, and slip in some red 3 point harnesses in the front. thinking of mounting a voltmeter overhead too. I want mild motorsport/performnce theme, without going as far a roll cages and full sticker sets.

Any ideas? C'mon guys - stir the creative pot!

It's already gor a Powertec stainless mesh cone induction kit - i doubt i makes much difference, but the metallic inlet rasp is spine tingling! It had a K & N cone when i got it, but thatwas disitigrating, so it had to go.

It already has a strut brace, so that box is ticked.

I like the oil pressure guage Jer - where would one fit the sender for that?

It was Welshpug that suggested it :P You may be able to use an 8v sender from a 205 GTi, or an aftermarket one tht fits into the oil pressure switch hole

I'm not 100% on this, but it may actually already have the sender screwed into the block!! my engine certainly has a sender that looks like a pressure sender with no plug on it, and a P2 405 doesnt have a gauge, but the same engine in a 306 and ZX does have a pressure gauge.

Yup, the sensor is there.

The BX and GTI16 used it.

As Kris has almost said it's always there on the Alloy engine's but the Iron block engine it might be blanked off, but it's just above the oil filter so not the best place to get too,

Why would you want an oil pressure gauge? By the time you've noticed it's low it's all over anyway! You're better off fitting a fast acting pressure switch and a big red light! (if you don't trust the standard light)

I was thinking of some psuedo rallye strips, like on the PHI 106 Rallyes.
