Call me a dummy, but how do I find out? :unsure::(

 

Edit: Ok, so I guess it's the ECU number on his one should match mine... Should it be exactly the same, or just a little bit? :P

Ok, so I had a look under the bonnet and couldn't see it... Where is it? :P

Should be under the steering wheel, behind a panel. Thats where it is on my 205 anyway, would of thought its in the same place for a 405

No, its under the bonnet, under a plastic cover on the back right as you look at the car from the front

Yes it will fit fine.

 

Your's is a 1991 car so it will have the cool knock sensored 3 row set up and that ecu on ebay is a 354 which is from a 16v BX!

Hm, it doesn't work. My ECU code is one number out from the one on this. So is it not working because it's the wrong type, or it's broken?

 

The car turns over but wont start with it on. :(

Hi Matt, Yes I can assure you this ECU Definently works - it was pulled out of my own car after I broke it
