Jer309GTi 3 Posted February 23, 2007 Can anyone recommended something to put on leather seats to keep it in good condition and give it a bit of a clean up? There are so many 'leather treatments' on the market I don't know where to start Cheers
Ryan 99 Posted February 24, 2007 Autoglym do a cleaning spray and some cream that you rub in to keep the leather supple. The cleaner does the job but tbh isn't anything special. When it runs out I'll get some of the stuff people use on leather sofas as it's cheaper. The cream is great though. You have to give it a few goes before you notice any difference, but then you only need to do it every 6-9 months and the leather stays soft.
calvinhorse 870 Posted February 25, 2007 my mum (the almighty fountain of endless knowledge) gave me some saddle soap and cream that she uses on her sadles for the horses which made the leather like brand new and smells like there brand new aswell ill find out the propper name of it on monday but its the best ive used and was £9 each tube and it will last for a long time! you can buy it from most saddlerys or farm shops. KRISKARRERA 2 1 Cars Posted February 25, 2007 In the summer I'm always applying the Autoglym cream to the leather, especially the areas that seem to dry out from the sun.
Jer309GTi 3 Posted February 25, 2007 I thought you had cloth seats Kris? Cheers for the replies. Pony, there are a couple of farm shops near me so if you can get hold of the name of the saddle stuff that would be good
Baz 421 Posted February 26, 2007 Another vote for the Autoglym. I use a leather cleaner first though, whatever i have at the time.

Maybe you were thinking of Paul, he had the velours in his now sadly deceased phase 2.

Guest turbolag Posted July 6, 2007 Once you've got he seats all tasty and clean, treat them to a weekly wipe down with baby wipes - honest! Cleans, conditions, and a fraction of the price of specialist wipes.
