need to replace both bloody driveshafts on the mi, the 18's hav destroyed them! just wonderin if i hav to get mi16 ones, or are they all the same for p1 405's or wot? and does anyone know how much they are? or a cheap place to get them from perhaps lol

Is the ABS still working?

I expect your 40mm drop hasn't helped the drive shafts much.

nah took the abs out, was better without it lol!

I've looked in the GSF catalogue and it lists quite a few different part numbers for 405 driveshafts, so they are not all the same.

The driveshafts for these cars looks like a jungle to me.

 

I know the GTX-ph2 and Mi-ph1 shafts can be swapped, however the amount of splines inside is different. I believe its the same situation with most of the 405's, like the SRi ph1, GLX-ph2..

ok, well thanks for the help. looks like i'll just hav to buy sum new ones, chances of finding one at a scrappy are pretty slim lol

Better new than used, you never know if they'r gonna last for weeks or years, even if they seem tight at first.
