Wheel Color Options For Red 205

Recommended Posts

DamirGTI

As above , Id like to change from the silver on a cherry red 205 so , been thinking about black (solid black or black with a round red lip) , white maybe or some darker shade of silver/grey ..

Dunno which one to try out , anyone has a cherry red with some different wheel colour aside from the usual silver ?

black :

I really don't like red cars with dark rims, so perhaps white!

I think the plain gloss black looks really good with the red. Plus the black works well with the black trims. I guess i would say this however as i have black wheels on all my cars.

Looking slightly worse for wear after being on the car for almost 10 years but I still think the goodwood style on mine look spot on.

Yes the silver one looks the cleanest in shape no doubt , but i dunno .. id just want to see if there's any other nice combo aside from silver ..

This one looks interesting :) , is that satin black or dark grey colour base ?

Anyone has a picture with black base and red round lip similar to this one above please ? suppose it'll also look god on a red 205 .

Other variations also (white , dark grey etc.) , if you can be bothered post a pic B)

Thanks !

Black wheels don't look good without a rim as they look small / like steels IMHO. Goodwood like Pacey's or even the above look fine as it gives the wheels an edge. You can get away with a lighter gunmetal as on my brothers old 1900 autotesting car below

I'm looking at the white ones , seems like they somehow out-take the complete colour of the bodywork ?! like they're the first thing that you notice when you look at the whole car

.. dunno , i think i don't like white  ... maybe if the car is lowered would be different .

Graphite grey also looks nice , however the red painted outer rim ring really brings up dark wheels ..

I'll do them either satin black or graphite grey with the cherry red outer rim ring ;)

Thanks !

Dark colours always look good on red IMO.

I clicked this with only one colour in my mind.......silver.

BUT, the darker wheels do look really good in some of these pics, got me thinking about my cherry red now, might go down the dark wheel route.
