How interchangable are Peugeot flywheel sensors?

 

The wiring on my Mi's sensor has seen better days and occasionally needs a wiggle before the engine will start. New ones for models like the 306 or phase 2 405 are only about £15 for a genuine Bosch sensor. Are they interchangable with the older models?

Yes any late 306 sensor is fine, Well I know the XSI and GTi6 ones work without any issues at all, No matter what people say on Ebay

yup, even the later diesel ones will do the trick, and V6 ones.
