This was the second challenge for the 205 1.6 Gti. They must have rated it very highly as it was the main player in all tests at the time

I've not read that yet but quickly looking at that the 205 has ages so well in comparison.

205 1.6 had the worst perforance figures of the three. A test of the 1.9 and the last gen Uno and 5 would be interesting.

In real world terms 1.9 is no quicker than a 1.6.
