Fuel Pipe Replacement Copper

I went for a run in my MI16 yesterday when I stopped I had a strong smell of petrol.

After inspection under car, I found the fuel pipe had a small hole in it spraying fuel onto the exhaust!

I have replaced both fuel pipes under car with copper, my question is this okay next time I take car for Mot?

Yes I've used it for years no issues.

I have always used copper in my rally cars with no problems but there are some on here that say otherwise !
