Omex 600 Rev Counter

Can any one please tell me what is needed to get the standard rev counter working without doing the rev counter mod.

make a pickup/converter with about a pound of resistors and diodes from Maplin or RS.

Just the normal rev counter mod, can be found on a search but don;t ask me how

Did the revcounter mod, worked a treat set the tacho teeth to 2, had to take the needle off to get it abit more actuate.
