What Steel Wheels Will Fit A 205?

Recommended Posts

john-melbourne

Hi Guys,

I am wanted to get my current set of alloy wheel refurbed and want to put on a cheap set of steel wheels whilst doing so, what steel wheels will fit on a 205, do all Peugeot steel wheels fit?

Thanks

John

Most 4 stud Peugeot/Citroen wheels are the same fitment in terms of PCD and bore, but the offset is wrong on the later cars.

Generally speaking, anything from a 106, 306, 405, 406, Saxo, BX, ZX, or Xsara will be correct.

206, 307 etc onwards is usually the wrong offset and will usually need spacers - or certainly that's the case for alloys, so I assume it applies to steels too.

but the bigger cars will have wider tyres which will cause clearance issues

to be honest the cti is not ny daily driver so I don't mind nit being able to drive it while the wheels are being done, I just don't want it sitting on axle stands :)

manchester wasnt that local to bournemouth last time I looked at a map

the deeper offset on the later pugs isn't much of a concern if you stick to something 6x15, I know an ET28 6.5x16 ouragan alloy from a 206 will bolt on a 309 and 205 running standard 1.9 running gear and only just rub.

your only issue would be the rather balloon like tyres some have, but if it wont be moved far they'll be fine.

Easily cured if you use a better browser while on your phone.
